In front of the parking with the white chapel of São Sebastião, just north of town and on the north side of Algodio beach, you find an a-frame with two quality waves. The right is called Moita, the left Esquerda Moita. Moita is more forgiving and also accessible for good intermediates. Be careful with lower tide as it gets very shallow. Although less local than the left, Moita is still one of the local spots. Without respect, you won’t have a change!
