Praia da Aguda is a beautiful beach located in the district of Sintra, just south of Praia do Magoito. With more than 100 stairs to walk down and many other surf spots nearby, it is usually less crowded than the surrounding beaches of Praia Grande, Praia Pequena and Praia das Maçãs. This surf spot picks up a lot of swell and produces both lefts and rights depending on the sand banks.

The best conditions are wind from the east and swell from the west. Although most of the beach is covered with sand, there are more rocks and reef plateaus on both ends of the beach.
