Everything you need to know about this surf spot

Praia da Vigia, also known as Praia de Vide is basically the south end of Praia de São Julião. With low tide both beaches are connected, but with higher tide access to this surf spot is only possible via the dirt parking on top of Praia da Vigia. The track down the cliffs is not easy, especially with surfboards. But this of course also reduces the crowds. There are both lefts and rights on this beach, but the righthander in front of the beach entrance is mostly surfed.

This beach is also known as a naturist beach, so don’t be shocked when you see nudists around.
